Matilde Almeida

Matilde (no "h") is probably among the tiniest people in Copenhagen. Her 1.61 m (that hasn't changed a lot since high school) is sometimes a struggle when she needs to reach the handrail in the metro or have a proper view in concerts.

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, she's a bioengineer fascinated by books, cinema, music and anything related to art. She has been self-diagnosed as music-hypersensitive, having a hard time not being able to move when listening to songs she likes.

When not in the lab, dancing or both, she can often be found in Vester Vov Vov or La Fontaine's jazz jam sessions. She loves travelling, non-fiction, olive oil, Talking Heads, parties and getting caught in 5-minutes conversations that end up lasting 5 hours.
